The Sankei Building Co., Ltd. and Haseko Realty & Residence, Inc. have signed an agreement with Hilton to open an “LXR Hotels & Resorts” property in Hakone Gora, Japan, in the summer of 2028.
The hotel will feature 94 guest rooms in total. Every room will be at least 50 square meters in size and equipped with an open-air hot spring bath. Some rooms will be designated as dog-friendly rooms where guests can stay with their dogs. Facilities will include a restaurant, lounge, large public bath, spa, fitness center, and more. In front of the hotel lies Momijidani (Maple Valley), a scenic area managed by Kanagawa Prefecture, and guests will be able to enjoy views of Hakone’s natural landscape, including Momijidani, from their rooms.
Access: approximately 9 minutes on foot from Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Railway, and about 3 minutes on foot from Koen-Shimo Station on the Hakone Tozan Cable Car.
