
Akita Prefecture Launches “Tokutabi Campaign” Regional Travel Support Program
Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay in Japan will host the sweets buffet “Peach & Melon Meets Häagen-Dazs” from May 13 to August 31.
The sweets selection includes peach melba, a weekday time-service limited peach ice cream cake, peach and melon shaved ice parfait, coffee jelly parfait, freshly made customizable crepes and cream puffs, freshly piped European chestnut Mont Blanc, peach jelly and melon-soda-style jelly, peach tart, melon shortcake, peach and black tea Basque cheesecake, apple peach mousse, as well as all-you-can-eat fresh melon and three flavors of Häagen-Dazs ice cream: vanilla, strawberry, and cookies & cream. The ice cream can be arranged with six types of toppings and eight types of sauces. From July 1, part of the lineup will change to include mango sweets. Around 15 kinds of light meals will be available, such as freshly fried French fries, a cheese-cutting service with assorted cheeses, and crispy chicken. The drink bar will offer about 30 varieties, including arranged flavored carbonated water.
The venue is Chef’s Live Kitchen on the 3rd floor. The serving time is from 3:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. The price starts from 5,060 yen for adults and 2,420 yen for children. Tax included, service charge not included.
