APA Group Acquires Hotel Development Site in Hiroshima, Plans New APA Hotel Hiroshima Hacchobori Station South
Nara Hotel will rename its new building the “West Wing” and hold a grand reopening on September 2.
The guest rooms have been fully renovated into a modern interpretation of the design of the Main Building, and two new categories, Premium and Superior, have been introduced. As a result, the total number of guest rooms in the Main Building and West Wing combined will be reduced from 127 to 114. The Premium Terrace Twin, Premium Japanese-Western Room, and Crown Suite each offer more than 60 square meters of space.
Inside the hotel, art pieces made with bricks from the time of the hotel’s founding have been installed. The former Japanese restaurant “Hanakiku” has been reborn as the teppanyaki restaurant “Hanakiku,” offering dishes made with local ingredients at seats overlooking Naramachi, a traditional district of Nara, Japan.
The Main Building guest rooms, hotel shop, main dining room “Mikasa,” tea lounge, and bar “THE BAR” will resume operations on June 4.
