Hilton to Open Gajoen Tokyo LXR Hotels & Resorts in 2027
Rakuten STAY opened “Rakuten STAY VILLA Hakone Gora” on April 23.
The property consists of three buildings with a total of 20 guest rooms, all designed as two-story maisonettes offering more than 100 square meters of space including the terrace. There are three room types, A to C. Type A rooms offer views of Myojogatake Mountain from the terrace. Some Type B rooms are equipped with a self-loyly sauna, cold bath, and outdoor relaxation space. Some Type C rooms are dog-friendly, allowing up to two dogs to stay and featuring a private dog run exclusively for the guest room. Inside, each unit has a living room with large windows leading to the terrace, a natural hot spring bath, a projector, and a kitchen fully equipped with home appliances and cooking utensils.
The facility provides one parking space per room and four electric vehicle charging stations. Guest room doors use smart locks, and check-in and check-out are contactless, conducted via a tablet device inside the room.
Meals are provided in a format where pre-prepared ingredients are stocked in the refrigerator and guests complete the final cooking themselves. For dinner, guests can choose from sukiyaki, duck hot pot, or teppanyaki grilled on the terrace. For breakfast, two types of boxed meals are offered: a Japanese breakfast box and a Western-style breakfast box supervised by restaurants in Hakone and Sengokuhara.
Access: approximately a 7-minute walk from Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Railway, about 30 minutes by car from Odawara Station, and about 30 minutes by car from the Odawara-Nishi Interchange (IC).
