
ANA and Pokémon Reveal First Two Pokémon Jets for 30th Anniversary
JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) has announced its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2026. Net profit amounted to 12.1 billion yen, a 41% increase compared to the previous fiscal year.
Sales totaled 1.1333 trillion yen, up 6% year on year. Operating profit was 14.5 billion yen, down 2%, while ordinary profit reached 17.3 billion yen, up 4%, resulting in higher revenue and higher profit overall. Inbound travel to Japan and global travel grew significantly, while MICE, business related to the Osaka–Kansai Expo, and the trading and payment business areas all remained strong. Total travel-related sales were 105% compared to the previous fiscal year.
As of the end of the fiscal year, the number of consolidated subsidiaries was 117 in total, consisting of 22 companies in Japan, 79 companies overseas, and 16 equity-method affiliates. The number of employees was 20,029, an increase of 653 from the end of the previous fiscal year.
For the fiscal year ending March 2027, JTB is targeting sales of 1.245 trillion yen (110% year on year) and operating profit of 16.5 billion yen (114% year on year).
