
Polaris Holdings Suffers Fraudulent Transfers Following Unauthorized Access to Booking.com
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nagoya-Ekimae held its grand reopening on May 1 following renovation.
The hotel has newly introduced four room types: Corner Twin, Deluxe Corner Twin, Superior Twin, and Comfort Double, increasing the number of twin rooms from 22 to 43. Carpeting, wallpaper, beds, sofas, and other furnishings have been updated in all 185 rooms. All rooms now have a maximum occupancy of two guests, and the four new room types are equipped with ReFa shower heads and hair dryers.
The Superior Twin offers approximately 23.1 square meters of space and is furnished with two 110-centimeter-wide beds, a wide desk, and an entrance area that can be separated by a sliding door. The Comfort Double provides approximately 19.7 square meters with one 168-centimeter-wide bed, while the Corner Twin is a corner room of approximately 19.1 square meters with furniture and appliances laid out for functional use.
The Deluxe Corner Twin is approximately 22.3 square meters, limited to one room per floor, and features large windows with views toward Nagoya Station. All guest rooms are equipped with LCD TVs of 40 inches or larger, refrigerators, humidifying air purifiers, electric kettles, and multi-type mobile phone chargers.
The lobby has been refurbished with brighter tones for the wooden finishes and flooring, and the sofas and side tables have been replaced. A new baggage port has been installed, allowing guests to store their own luggage. Within the property, guests will find an amenity bar, coin-operated laundry machines, ice maker, microwave ovens, and self check-in kiosks, along with 32 spaces in an affiliated parking lot.
