Daiwa Life Next will hold the grand opening of “GRAND HOSTEL LDK Osaka Shinsekai” in June.
The building has 9 floors. The guest rooms comprise 14 dormitory rooms with 178 beds, 6 group private rooms for 4 to 6 people, and 22 hotel-type private rooms for 2 to 3 people, for a total of 252 beds. Dormitory rooms are available as mixed-gender and women-only. Hotel-type private rooms are equipped with a private shower room, washbasin, and toilet. The one-and-only special room, the “Diorama Room”, is a collaboration with Hankai Tramway and features a diorama of the cityscape of Osaka and a railway model layout where guests can operate 6 lines. In addition to floor security via elevator, card-key security doors are installed at the entrance of each guest room.
Inside the property, there is a 24-hour lounge, a shared kitchen equipped with two island kitchens, a bar adjacent to the front desk, a prayer room, a laundry room, and gender-neutral restrooms. Reservations are already being accepted, and bookings for the Diorama Room are scheduled to begin in early April.
Access: a 2-minute walk from Dobutsuen-mae Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, a 3-minute walk from Shin-Imamiya Station on the JR Osaka Loop Line, and a 4-minute walk from Ebisucho Station on the Hankai tramway.
