Kazakhstan has the largest economy in Central Asia, with manufacturing, mining, and industrial production as its key industries. It is also Hong Kong’s largest trading partner and a major export market in the region. The Asian Winter Games are scheduled to be held there in 2029, and tourism demand is expected to grow. This will be the only non-stop service between Hong Kong and Kazakhstan, and Cathay Pacific’s first route to Central Asia.
