Club Tourism Updates Response to Middle East Situation, Suspends Tours via Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi Until July 16
HIS (H.I.S. Co., Ltd.), a major Japanese travel agency, has updated its measures in response to the situation in the Middle East.
For overseas package tours (Ciao, impresso) and overseas flight + hotel packages (organized tours), trips whose destination is Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Oman, or Jordan, for which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan has issued Travel Advice and Warning Level 2 or Level 3, as well as trips transiting through Dubai, Doha, or Abu Dhabi, will have their departures cancelled up to and including July 12.
For customers who have booked overseas air tickets, overseas air ticket + hotel (custom-arranged trips), or overseas hotels, handling will be in accordance with the regular rules of the airlines, hotels, and local tour operators. If special measures are introduced due to a deterioration in the situation, the special conditions set by each company will apply.
Cancellations made before a formal decision to suspend the tour, and cancellations for travel to regions other than those mentioned above, will incur cancellation fees in accordance with the standard terms and conditions.
