Malaysia Airlines Receives Its 200th Boeing Aircraft
Japan Airlines (JAL), in collaboration with Oriental Land, will operate a special livery aircraft on domestic routes from June 4 to commemorate the Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary event “Sparkling Jubilee.” The aircraft, named “JAL Jubilee Express” (Boeing 737-800, registration: JA339J), will be deployed on JAL’s Japan domestic network.
The tie-up between JAL and Oriental Land began in 2001, the year Tokyo DisneySea in Japan opened, and this is the seventh special livery aircraft in the series. The fuselage is based on “Jubilee Blue,” the theme color of Sparkling Jubilee, and features the Aquasphere and Mount Prometheus, both symbols of Tokyo DisneySea, along with Disney friends dressed in special costumes. The design differs on the left and right sides of the aircraft, with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse at the center of both. On the left side, Pluto, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Chip, and Dale appear, while the right side features Duffy and ShellieMay.
On board, passengers will find specially designed headrest covers and paper cups (three designs in total), and they will be welcomed with Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary theme song “Come Join the Jubilee.” As a commemorative gift, boarding certificate stickers (randomly distributed from three designs) will also be presented.
The routes and flight numbers the aircraft will operate on will be announced on the official website and other channels in the evening of the day before operation. The operation period is scheduled to run until around April 2027. (15 photos follow below)
