
JAL Unveils “JAL Jubilee Express” Special Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary Jet
Riyadh Air has taken delivery of two Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
The airline has placed orders for up to 72 Boeing 787 aircraft, and these are its first deliveries. Riyadh Air plans to operate them on regional and long-haul routes, including to Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. Initial routes are planned to destinations such as London, Cairo, and Jeddah. The carrier aims to serve more than 100 destinations by 2030.
The cabin features four classes: Business Elite, Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class. Business Elite and Business Class offer full-flat beds in a 1-2-1 configuration, Premium Economy Class is in a 2-3-2 configuration, and Economy Class is in a 3-3-3 configuration.
The introduction of these aircraft is part of Saudi Arabia’s national aviation strategy and is positioned as supporting the realization of Saudi Vision 2030, which targets 150 million visitors and 330 million air passengers per year by 2030.
Riyadh Air is an airline backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) and has placed aircraft orders with both Boeing and Airbus.
