
Qatar Airways to Gradually Increase Doha–Dubai Flights from June 5
Delta Air Lines launched its Los Angeles–Hong Kong route on June 6.
The airline operates one round-trip flight per day, using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The flight time is 13 hours and 30 minutes from Hong Kong, and 14 hours and 50 minutes from Los Angeles.
At Hong Kong International Airport, the launch was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Jeff Moomaw, Vice President – Asia Pacific; Julie Eadeh, Consul General of the United States to Hong Kong and Macau; and William Ho, Executive Director, Airport Operations, Hong Kong International Airport. The inaugural flight was welcomed with a water cannon salute upon arrival in Hong Kong.
From Los Angeles, Delta operates more than 150 flights to over 50 destinations at peak times, providing one-stop access to cities across the United States. Delta is also investing 2.3 billion US dollars to renovate Terminal 3, which covers approximately 110,000 square meters and includes 27 gates.
On this route, Cathay Pacific currently operates three round-trip flights per day, and United Airlines operates two round-trip flights per day.
