Qatar Airways will launch its Doha–Port Sudan route on July 2.
The airline will operate three round trips per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, using Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight time is 3 hours from Doha and 2 hours 55 minutes from Port Sudan.
Port Sudan is Sudan’s largest port city. In addition to serving as an export hub for oil, agricultural products, and natural resources, it also offers tourism attractions such as traditional markets, historical buildings, and marine tourism.
