Air Mauritius Appoints Aviareps as Japan GSA and Begins Passenger Operations
All Nippon Airways (ANA) will increase its international fuel surcharge for tickets issued on or after July 1.
The fuel surcharge is levied based on the amount obtained by converting into Japanese yen the two‑month average market price of Singapore kerosene using the two‑month average exchange rate.
Based on the average fuel market price from April to May, itineraries departing from Japan fall into the level at which the table for “28,000 yen or more and less than 29,000 yen” would normally apply. ANA will therefore newly establish tables for “24,000 yen or more and less than 25,000 yen” through “28,000 yen or more and less than 29,000 yen.” Taking into account the impact of emergency, drastic‑change mitigation measures that subsidize aviation fuel in light of the situation in the Middle East, ANA will apply, as a special case, the table for “25,000 yen or more and less than 26,000 yen.”
For all routes, the following amounts apply per one‑way sector to and from Japan: 65,000 yen for Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania, and Central and South America; 40,400 yen for Hawaii, India, and Indonesia; 33,500 yen for Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Cambodia; 22,500 yen for Vietnam, the Philippines, Guam, Palau, and Mongolia; 15,400 yen for China, Macao, Taiwan, and Hong Kong; and 7,400 yen for South Korea and Russia (Vladivostok).
