Kochi Kuroshio Hotel Apologizes Over Monument to An Jung-geun on Its Premises
IHG Hotels & Resorts will open the Holiday Inn Express Sapporo Susukino on July 17.
The company has concluded a management contract with Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development, Tokyo Tatemono, and Sankei Building. The former OMO3 Sapporo Susukino by Hoshino Resorts has been rebranded and extensively renovated. It originally held its grand opening on January 28, 2022, as the third hotel under the OMO brand in Hokkaido, but closed after check-out on April 1.
The building has 13 floors above ground. It offers a total of 223 guest rooms, and the interior adopts, for the first time in Japan, the brand’s “Generation 5” design concept, featuring an Express Café, fitness center, and laundry facilities. Breakfast is complimentary. This is the first Holiday Inn Express–brand hotel in Hokkaido and the second in Japan. It will be the eighth IHG property in Hokkaido.
Access: a 5-minute walk from Susukino Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Namboku Line, and a 3-minute walk from Shiseikan Shogakko-mae stop on the Sapporo Streetcar.
