Etihad Airways will increase flights on its Abu Dhabi–Kabul route to two round trips per day starting July 15.
The route was launched in March with four round trips per week and was increased to one round trip per day on May 1. This will be the second increase in frequencies since the launch. The flights will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft configured with a total of 158 seats, comprising 8 in Business Class and 150 in Economy Class. The flight time is 3 hours from Abu Dhabi and 3 hours 20 minutes from Kabul.
Kabul is the capital city of Afghanistan. More than 600,000 Afghans live around the world, and approximately 300,000 of them reside in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
