NOT A HOTEL Introduces Japan’s First Airbus ACH130 Aston Martin Edition Shared Helicopter

Airbus Corporate Helicopters has delivered an ACH130 Aston Martin Edition (registration: JA01GA) to NOT A HOTEL, a Japanese company that provides shared vacation home services. This is the first introduction of the type in Japan.

Through NOT A GARAGE, a mobility service announced by NOT A HOTEL in July 2025, customers can acquire fractional ownership as co-owners. The first helicopter was limited to 22 shares and has already sold out. A second helicopter is also planned, and shares are currently on sale for 55 million yen (including tax) per unit. For the first aircraft, preparations for operation will take around two months. During this period, the company plans to carry out promotional activities and promote sales of the second unit.

The ownership period is five years, after which the company plans to buy back the shares at 84.8% of the purchase price. Depreciation of up to 40 million yen is possible, and use as a tax-saving measure is also anticipated. There are no maintenance or management fees.

Based at Tokyo Heliport, the helicopter will connect locations where NOT A HOTEL owns vacation homes, such as Nasu, Kita-Karuizawa, and Minakami in Japan. The sales price includes up to five one-way flights per year of up to 30 minutes each (excluding fuel costs), which is extended to 60 minutes when traveling to NOT A HOTEL vacation homes. Operations will be handled by AirX.

The ACH130 Aston Martin Edition is a special model jointly developed by Airbus Corporate Helicopters (ACH) and Aston Martin. The interior and exterior are designed by Aston Martin, while craftsmen at Airbus Helicopters in Oxford, United Kingdom, are responsible for the finishing. Since its announcement in January 2020, 27 of the limited run of 30 units have reportedly been ordered from around the world, including Australia, Europe, Central and South America, North America, and Southeast Asia.

The helicopter has an overall length of 12.64 meters, a width of 2.03 meters, and a height of 3.61 meters. Its cruising speed is 134 knots (about 248 kilometers per hour), with a range of approximately 642 kilometers. It has seating for seven passengers and is equipped with a single Safran Helicopter Engines ARRIEL 2D engine.
