At the same time, JAL will newly launch the “JAL Sports Caravan,” implemented in collaboration with local governments. Co-hosted with regions that have close ties with JAL, such as Hokkaido, Ehime Prefecture, Fukuoka Prefecture, Saga Prefecture, and Miyazaki Prefecture, the program aims to promote interaction through sports and revitalize local communities, targeting children who aspire to become future athletes as well as local residents.
The schedule for the JAL Sports Caravan will be announced sequentially on the official Team JAL Instagram account.
The JAL Athlete Academy is a program that travels around Japan, directly conveying to children the joy of sports and providing advice to help them improve their skills in each discipline, while fostering interaction with local communities. Japan’s leading athletes and Olympians in track and field, para athletics, fencing, and skiing will provide instruction, communicating the appeal of each sport while conducting training in the basic movements of exercise: running, jumping, and throwing.
