Marriott International opened the JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort & Spa on June 12. On the brink of the company’s 100th anniversary, it has been inaugurated as the brand’s 10,000th hotel worldwide.
The opening ceremony was attended by David Marriott, Chairman of the Board, Rajeev Menon, President, Asia Pacific (excluding China), as well as the resort’s owner, Nilesh Gadhia, and the Gadhia family.
JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort & Spa is located a short drive from Ranthambore National Park and offers a total of 127 accommodations, including private villas, guest rooms, and suites. The property features a diverse range of dining options, including modern Indian cuisine, local regional specialties, and botanical cocktails inspired by native plant ingredients.
The JW Marriott brand currently operates more than 130 properties worldwide, while the luxury portfolio as a whole has grown to around 700 hotels across 7 brands in 74 countries and territories. Founded in 1927 as a small root beer stand with just nine seats, Marriott has grown into a global company operating hotels and resorts in 146 countries and territories.
