Grand Hyatt Tokyo will offer original restaurant menus and sweets from June 20 to August 31 as part of the “Pokémon 30th Anniversary Collaboration Grand Adventure.”
At Italian café Fiorentina, the hotel will serve the “Flying Pikachu Summer Parfait,” inspired by Pikachu going on an adventure with balloons. The parfait layers mascarpone mousse, peach-flavored jelly, coconut jelly, mango, and more, topped with a balloon-shaped mousse ice cream.
At steakhouse The Oak Door, the “Flying Pikachu Gourmet Burger Set” will be available. It features a burger with a beef patty, vegetables, and jalapeño pickles sandwiched in a yellow homemade potato bun branded with a Pikachu mark, finished with a special sauce combining barbecue sauce and ketchup, and served with curry-flavored French fries, chilled corn soup, and yellow soda. All of these menu items come with a Pokémon-designed placemat.
At Fiorentina Pastry Boutique, items on sale will include the “Pokémon 30th Anniversary Mango Cake,” a whole mango mousse cake inspired by Pikachu; the “Grand Adventure Sweets Trunk Case,” which packs cookies and chocolates into a box decorated with Pikachu, Eevee, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander; and the “Grand Adventure Baton Chocolates,” an assortment of five flavors expressing Poké Balls and the Grass, Fire, and Water types. The Sweets Trunk Case and Baton Chocolates each come with an original tote bag, and in addition to in-store sales, domestic shipping within Japan is also available.
