Cathay Pacific Lounge at Narita Airport to Temporarily Close for Renovation
A craft beer specialty café, “NRT BEER FLIGHT CAFE,” will open on June 26 in Terminal 2 of Narita International Airport in Japan.
In addition to selling draft “Narita Airport Ale,” a beer with a history of winning awards both in Japan and abroad, for the first time at a permanent outlet, the café will offer around 20 kinds of craft beer—one of the largest selections inside any airport in Japan. It will mainly feature breweries from Chiba Prefecture, where Narita is located, as well as from various regions across Japan.
“Beer flight,” from which the café takes its name, refers to a tasting style that allows customers to try several different beers in small portions and compare differences in flavor and aroma. The trays used for serving beer flights are made by repurposing felled trees generated during the expansion work at Narita Airport.
The café is located on the 2nd floor, in the international restricted area connecting passageway. Opening hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. (last order). On the opening day only, it will open from 10:30 a.m.
