
Cathay Pacific Lounge at Narita Airport to Temporarily Close for Renovation
Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. will gradually raise the passenger service facility charge for domestic flights at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan.
For tickets issued and boarding on or after September 1, the fee will be 580 yen for adults and 290 yen for children. Furthermore, for tickets issued and boarding on or after May 1, 2027, the adult fee only will be raised to 590 yen. The fee will be collected together with the airfare. When an infant under 3 years old uses a child ticket, the child rate will apply.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) had already approved an application setting the upper limit of the domestic passenger service facility charge at Haneda Airport at 595 yen for adults and 297 yen for children.
Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. is working on various projects including the northern satellite of Terminal 1 scheduled to start operation in September, the northern satellite construction of Terminal 2 scheduled to start operation in May 2027, renewal of various facilities, and seismic reinforcement of baggage handling systems. Taking into account rising labor costs and inflation, the company will raise the charges in line with the timing of the opening of the new facilities.
The most recent increase in the passenger service facility charge for domestic flights at Haneda Airport was in April 2025, and the current fee is 450 yen for adults and 220 yen for children.
