Biman Bangladesh Airlines will resume operations on the Tokyo/Narita–Dhaka route from July 27.
There will be one round-trip flight per week on Mondays, departing from both Tokyo/Narita and Dhaka. The aircraft type will be the Boeing 787-8. The flight time is 7 hours from Tokyo/Narita and 6 hours 50 minutes from Dhaka.
This route, which had been suspended since 2006, resumed operations in September 2023, initially with three round-trip flights per week. After a reduction in frequency, operations have been suspended again since July 2025.
On this route, Biman Bangladesh Airlines will be the only airline operating flights.
