“JFA BLUE ZONE” Official Japan National Team Shop Opens at Haneda Airport Terminal 2
Narita International Airport, Keisei Electric Railway, JR East Chiba Branch, and Narita Airport High-speed Railway will carry out renovation work aimed at easing congestion at Airport Terminal 2 Station in Japan.
They will review the layout of the ticket gates to eliminate the double-gate setup and reduce crowding both inside and outside the gates. In addition, they will relocate the ticket counter and ticket vending machines on the concourse outside the gates to expand the available space. The security inspection area and glass doors currently located outside the gates will be removed, and a waiting area and commercial spaces that anyone can use will be created to disperse passenger crowds. Signage will also be optimized so that travelers can move more easily from the terminal toward central Tokyo.
The aim is to begin using the renovated facilities by the first half of fiscal year 2028.
