JAL Group Implements Special Ticket Measures Due to Typhoon No. 7
Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has lowered the danger level for seven Middle Eastern countries, taking into account the memorandum on the end of hostilities between the United States and Iran and subsequent developments in the situation.
The danger level has been lowered to Level 2 (“Avoid non-essential travel”) for the entirety of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman; for Mafraq Governorate and Zarqa Governorate in Jordan; and for Riyadh Province and the Eastern Province in Saudi Arabia.
For all of these countries and regions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that “the possibility of unforeseen incidents occurring in the future cannot be ruled out,” and continues to request that people refrain from non-essential travel. For those for whom travel is necessary, the ministry urges travelers to obtain the latest information from multiple sources, take thorough safety measures, and avoid approaching military facilities as well as refraining from taking photos or videos of them.
