JALCARD will raise the overseas transaction processing fee for the JAL American Express Card to 3.43%.
This change follows a revision of fees by Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS. The current rate of 2% will be increased to 3.43% after the revision. The new fee will apply to transactions made from November 16 (to be billed in January 2027).
The Visa and Mastercard branded cards are also issued by Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS, but they are not subject to this revision and will remain at 3.63%. All rates are tax inclusive.
