Japan Airlines (JAL), Loyalty Marketing, and KDDI are running the “20% Increased Exchange Rate Campaign from Ponta Points to JAL Miles” from July 1 to 31, during which the usual exchange rate from Ponta points to JAL Mileage Bank miles will be enhanced.
The campaign applies to members of JMB×Ponta or holders of the JMB Lawson Ponta Card Visa who are also Japan-region members of JAL Mileage Bank. The standard exchange rate from Ponta points to miles is 1 mile per 2 Ponta points, but during the campaign an additional 20% bonus miles will be granted. Any fraction less than 1 mile will be rounded down.
The bonus miles corresponding to the increased rate will be credited around the end of August, separately from the regular miles. Those who have canceled their JMB×Ponta membership or withdrawn from the JMB Lawson Ponta Card Visa program at the time the bonus miles are credited will not be eligible.
