Loco Partners, which operates the Japanese hotel and ryokan booking service “Relux,” changed its management structure as of June 30.
Under the new management structure, Myunghoon Jeong has been appointed President and Representative Director, and Kazuhiro Taniguchi has been appointed Executive Officer and CTO. Koji Washino, President and Representative Director, and Norihito Karasawa, Director and CFO, have stepped down.
Relux is an accommodation booking service that offers special travel experiences in Japan. The Relux Screening Committee lists only carefully selected properties based on its own criteria, providing high-quality stays under the concept of “Stay in an experience you’ve never had before.” The company is promoting sales to inbound travelers to Japan through partnerships with overseas OTAs, and also operates “Relux Hotel GDS,” which can connect with accommodation suppliers around the world.
Loco Partners was founded on September 1, 2011. In 2017, Japanese telecommunications company KDDI acquired its shares and made it a consolidated subsidiary. In May this year, Yeogi Eoddae Company, which operates the online travel booking service “Yeogi Eoddae” in South Korea, announced that it would acquire Loco Partners.
