Japan Airlines (JAL) Group will offer flexible ticket handling due to expected adverse weather conditions caused by the approach of Typhoon No. 9.
As of 3:00 p.m. on July 10, the special handling applies to flights arriving at or departing from Miyako, Tarama, Ishigaki and Yonaguni from the afternoon of July 9 through July 11; and Kikai Island, Amami Oshima, Tokunoshima, Okinoerabu, Yoron, Okinawa/Naha, Kita-Daito, Minami-Daito and Kumejima from July 10 through July 11.
For tickets on eligible flights, changes, rebooking and refunds will be accepted free of charge, regardless of whether flights are delayed or canceled.
On July 11, the domestic flight counters at Naha Airport will open at 9:00 a.m. The airports in Miyako, Tarama, Ishigaki and Yonaguni will be closed for the entire day.
