The Westin Sendai will offer the peach-themed afternoon tea, “My Melody Peach Tea Party,” in collaboration with Sanrio character My Melody, from July 18 through September 25.
The selection includes seven sweets, including a peach and raspberry parfait inspired by My Melody’s ears, peach and vanilla mousse, peach glass shortcake, and marshmallows shaped like My Melody. Savory items include zunda mochi with strawberry cream, a mini burger with Sendai beef hamburger steak, and pickled Chioggia beets with sasakama fish cake. Guests can choose from 16 beverages, including mocktails, coffee, and Ronnefeldt tea. On weekends, a special plate featuring roasted beef tongue will also be served. Guests will receive one My Melody acrylic stand featuring an exclusive original design from a choice of three, while the menu card and placemat may also be taken home.
The event will be held at Restaurant Symphony. It is available for 120 minutes from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Prices start at 7,000 yen for adults, 4,800 yen for children aged 7 to 12, and 3,800 yen for children aged 4 to 6. Tax and service charge are included.
