DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station is holding its “Asian Summer Dinner Buffet,” themed around Asian cuisine, on selected dates from July 4 through September 27.
Under the theme of “Traveling around Asia while staying in Kyoto this summer,” the buffet offers cold and hot dishes from Korea, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Japan. The live kitchen serves samgyeopsal during the first half of the event and teppanyaki sukiyaki made with Japanese beef during the second half. The selection also includes banh mi, Kyoto-style obanzai home-style dishes, Thai glass noodle salad, green curry, Korean cold noodles, yangnyeom chicken, kushikatsu skewers and fried takoyaki, Asian sweets, and more.
The buffet is held on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as selected days during Japan’s Obon holiday period and the September holiday weekends. It is served at the all-day dining restaurant “Harvest Kitchen,” with 120-minute seating slots starting at 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m. During the Obon period and the September holiday periods, additional slots are available from 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., with the last admission at 8 p.m.
Prices for the Asian Summer Dinner Buffet are 6,800 yen for adults and 3,400 yen for children. One child aged 12 or under dines free with each paying adult. Plans for unlimited alcoholic beverages are available for 3,000 yen, while unlimited soft drinks are available for 800 yen. All prices include tax and service charge.
