Realgate opened SHIFT HOTEL SHIBUYA JINNAN on July 17.
The hotel is located on the fifth floor of JINNAN VALLEY, a mixed-use facility created by renovating a 50-year-old building. The first floor houses shops, while the second through fourth floors contain offices for startups. SQUEEZE operates the hotel.
The hotel has four guest rooms, designed to accommodate between four and eight guests. All rooms are equipped with kitchens and washing machines. The interior combines the distinctive texture of a vintage building with the culture of Jinnan, Shibuya, based on a 1970s to 1980s New York Brooklyn theme. LINE-INC. handled the interior design. Original works by street artist Aruta Soup are displayed on the walls of the common areas. Guests receive a knapsack inspired by the facility and items from storage goods brand Pake as gifts to use while exploring the neighborhood.
Access: a 3-minute walk from Exit B1 of Shibuya Station on the JR Yamanote and Saikyo lines, and from Exit B1 of Shibuya Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon and Fukutoshin lines and the Tokyu Toyoko Line.
