Tokyu Stay Shinjuku will reopen on September 29. Full-property renovation work has been underway since March 1.
The hotel will revamp its design concept to incorporate throughout the property the appeal of Shinjuku-sanchome, a neighborhood where diverse cultures such as cinemas, bar hopping, and rakugo storytelling venues intersect. It aims to become a stay destination like a plaza open to the local community.
The average size of guest rooms will be expanded from 16.7 square meters to 24.9 square meters, and new rooms accommodating up to four guests will be added. The new rooms will feature two beds, while concept rooms will incorporate large-screen TVs and curtain displays. The newly established lounge will host local events and workshops. Common areas will feature movie-inspired interiors.
