OMO Kansai Airport by Hoshino Resorts will host the “Yona Yona Neighborhood Beer Garden” at its Yona Yona Moonwalk rooftop bar from July 23 through October 31.
Using a “Neighborhood Snacks Cart” modeled after an in-flight meal cart, the event will offer more than 10 types of signature snacks from nearby shops that pair perfectly with craft beer.
A tasting set called the “Neighborhood Snacks Beer Flight” will also be available. The set combines local snacks with three varieties of craft beer, served on a plate designed in the shape of Izumisano City and accompanied by an airplane-shaped cutlery rest inspired by Kansai International Airport. Guests can enjoy pairings such as salt-lemon fried gatcho fish with Yona Yona Ale, Western-style mixed pickled water eggplant with Dondabada in the Back Alley, and canned aze mochi rice cakes with Satan of Sanity. The price is 2,500 yen, including tax.
Hours are from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with last orders at 10:30 p.m. The event is open to hotel guests and members of the “Hirake! Yona Yona Tsuki no Seikatsu” craft beer subscription service, including for day visits. No reservation is required. During happy hour, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., regular-size beers will be offered at 30% off the regular price.
