Biwako Otsu Prince Hotel, in Shiga Prefecture, will offer the “Ohmi Railway Collaboration Room” in partnership with Ohmi Railway from July 4 through September 23.
Limited to one room per day, the guest room will feature a bed throw inspired by the railway’s “Red Train,” wall panels depicting the two companies’ characters, railway furnishings such as cross seats and hand straps, and a plush toy and stationmaster’s cap of Chacon, the stationmaster character.
Guests will receive an Ohmi Railway one-day pass, an exploration book, and an original headmark sticker. The package also includes the opportunity to enjoy a train journey along the railway line and visit the Ohmi Railway Museum inside Yokaichi Station.
Rates for four guests sharing one room start from ¥16,340 per person for members and ¥17,310 per person for non-members, including two meals. All rates include tax and service charges. Guests staying during selected periods will also receive a pool discount voucher for the hotel’s 90-meter-long outdoor pool.
