Hilton Narita will host its “Nationwide Gourmet Tour & Summer Fruits and Ice Cream Temptation” from July 1 through August 31.
The menu includes Hokkaido white corn blancmange, Morioka reimen cold noodles from Iwate, Akita kiritanpo bouillabaisse, Osaka-style beef tendon stew inspired by doteyaki, Borga rice from Fukui featuring omurice topped with a cutlet, and pasta with Shinshu nozawana pickles and mushrooms from Nagano. Local specialties from Chiba will also be available, including black ajillo made with “zenna,” juvenile clams from Kujukuri, shaved strawberry ice from Aiba Strawberry Farm in Sanmu City, and watermelon from Yachimata and Tomisato. Desserts include eight daily rotating peach and mango creations, such as peach verrine, peach and mango tarts, peach roll cake, and mango shortcake. Guests can also enjoy a station where they can freely skewer six varieties of seasonal fruit, including watermelon, melon, and kiwi, as well as three daily rotating Häagen-Dazs ice cream varieties. An all-you-can-eat snow crab buffet will be offered at dinner from August 13 through 16.
The event will be held at Terrace Restaurant. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; hours differ on weekends and public holidays. Prices start from 5,500 yen for adults, 2,500 yen for elementary school children, and 1,200 yen for children aged 4 to 6. Children aged 3 and under dine free. Tax and service charge are included.
