JTB Corp. has been selling its three-day “TOKIAIR Charter: A Culinary and Cultural Journey to Sado Island” tour, which uses Toki Air flights to and from Sado, since July 26.
This is the first charter travel package to carry passengers to Sado. It is offered under “Ohtori Fuka,” the top-tier brand of “Tabi Monogatari,” JTB’s escorted tour program. The three-day tours depart from Kobe on October 27 and from Nagoya/Chubu on November 3.
From the next fiscal year onward, Toki Air will consider gradually expanding departure cities after assessing customer demand and other factors. In the medium to long term, it is also considering the possibility of scheduled air routes to Sado.
Tour prices range from ¥300,000 to ¥340,000 for departures from Kobe, and from ¥330,000 to ¥380,000 for departures from Nagoya/Chubu. Tours departing from Nagoya/Chubu will go on sale on August 17.
