Japan Airlines (JAL) Group will implement special ticket handling due to the impact of the earthquake that struck Kumamoto on July 28.
As of 7:00 p.m. on July 28, the special handling applies to flights arriving in or departing from Kumamoto on July 29.
As of now, seven flights on the Tokyo/Haneda–Kumamoto route and four flights on the Osaka/Itami–Kumamoto route have been canceled for July 29. Flights arriving in or departing from Kumamoto after 1:00 p.m. are scheduled to operate as normal.
Regardless of delays or cancellations, tickets for eligible flights may be changed, rebooked, or refunded free of charge.
