All Nippon Airways (ANA) and ANA Akindo launched the “Two-Region Living Trial Plan” on July 15 through “ANA’s Two-Region Living BLUE SKY LIFE.”
The eligible areas have been expanded from nine municipalities in three prefectures in the previous fiscal year to 20 municipalities across one prefecture and eight prefectures. The eligible period has also been extended by three months, allowing participants to experience two-region living—having a base in another area—by taking part in locally unique experiential programs.
ANA SKY Coins, which can be used to pay for air tickets, will be awarded through “Selectable e-GIFT.” The amount awarded and eligible routes vary by area, and the coins can be used to pay for Economy Class “Simple” and “Standard” fares.
Participating municipalities are Kushiro City, Nakafurano Town, and Nakagawa Town in Hokkaido; Kuroishi City, Aomori Prefecture; Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture; Yonago City, Chizu Town, and Hokuei Town in Tottori Prefecture; Gotsu City, Shimane Prefecture; Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture; Kanonji City, Kagawa Prefecture; Yasuda Town, Otoyo Town, Niyodogawa Town, and Yusuhara Town; Umaji Village, Motoyama Town, and Okawa Village in Kochi Prefecture; and Kanzaki City and Arita Town in Saga Prefecture.
The “ANA’s Two-Region Living BLUE SKY LIFE” portal website also provides local information from participating municipalities, as well as lifestyle information related to work, childcare, hobbies, and more.
This is a demonstration project under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s Two-Region Living Pioneering Project Implementation Program, utilizing subsidies provided by participating municipalities.
