Japan Airlines (JAL) is running its “Miles to WAON! Bulk Exchange Campaign” from July 1 through August 31 for JAL Mileage Bank members who hold a JMB WAON Card.
While the usual exchange rates are 3,000 miles for 1,500 WAON or 10,000 miles for 11,000 WAON, during the campaign period, 40,000 miles can be exchanged for 50,000 WAON. There is no limit on the number or amount of exchanges.
The maximum WAON balance that can be held on a card is 50,000 yen. If the limit is exceeded, the WAON must be downloaded in multiple installments.
