Conrad Nagoya Opens
Odakyu Electric Railway and Odakyu Resorts will open a Japanese-style villa hotel consisting entirely of standalone buildings around spring 2028.
The property will comprise a total of 19 buildings: one reception building and 18 guest villa buildings, designed around the concept of a “private retreat nestled in the forest.” The 18 guest villas will be available in three types: three villas for two guests, 12 for four guests, and three for six guests. Guestroom sizes will be approximately 45 square meters, 70 square meters, and 110 square meters, respectively. The interiors will incorporate Japanese design elements such as tatami mats, shoji screens, and earthen walls. Each villa will feature a kitchenette and a free-flowing hot spring bath supplied by an on-site natural spring, while some villas will also have semi-open-air baths.
Facilities will include a lounge in the reception building with an irori hearth, a viewing terrace overlooking the seasonal scenery on the grounds, and forest walking paths, creating an environment where guests can spend time immersed in nature. Welcome drinks and breakfast will be served in the reception building, while the lounge will operate as a bar in the evening, offering alcoholic beverages and light meals. Collaboration with the dining facilities at the adjacent Hotel Hakone Yutowa is also being considered.
The hotel will be a nine-minute walk from Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Line.
