Hotel Tokachiya will open a hotel in central Obihiro, Hokkaido, by the end of 2027.
The company plans to build a 14-story hotel on the former site of Hokuyo Bank, which is owned by Hakuai-kai. It will be the company’s seventh hotel. The property will offer 185 guest rooms. Construction began on June 1, with completion scheduled for the end of November 2027. The site area is 1,014.64 square meters, and the total floor area is 6,344.32 square meters.
The hotel will feature a restaurant on the first floor, guest rooms from the second through 13th floors, and a large public bath using moor hot spring water, a sauna, and an open-air bath on the top floor. A self-service parking facility with space for 90 vehicles will be developed near the site. Located in central Obihiro, the hotel is expected to serve business travelers and tourists.
