All Nippon Airways (ANA) will cancel all extra flights to and from Okinawa/Naha scheduled for August 8 as replacements for flights canceled due to Typhoon 13.
Initially, as flights were expected to be able to operate from the evening onward, ANA had scheduled 40 flights on six routes connecting Tokyo/Haneda, Shizuoka, Nagoya/Chubu, Osaka/Itami, Takamatsu, and Fukuoka with Okinawa/Naha.
As a result, a total of 180 flights will be canceled: 160 domestic and 15 international flights on August 8, and two domestic and three international flights on August 9.
The check-in counters at Naha Airport will close at 3 p.m. on the same day. They will open as usual from 6:05 a.m. on August 9.
Special ticket handling is available for tickets on flights to and from Okinawa/Naha, Miyako, and Ishigaki. The applicable period is from noon on August 6 through August 9.
