All Nippon Airways (ANA) will reduce its international fuel surcharge for tickets issued on or after September 1.
The fuel surcharge is determined based on the average market price of Singapore kerosene over a two-month period, converted into Japanese yen using the average exchange rate over the same two-month period.
Based on the average fuel market price from June through July, the “JPY 21,000 or more but less than JPY 22,000” table would apply to itineraries departing Japan. However, taking into account the effect of subsidies for aviation fuel under emergency measures to mitigate sharp price fluctuations in response to the situation in the Middle East, the “JPY 20,000 or more but less than JPY 21,000” table will be applied as a special exception.
For each one-way journey departing from or arriving in Japan, the surcharge will be JPY 55,000 for routes to Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania, and Central and South America; JPY 35,800 for Hawaii, India, and Indonesia; JPY 27,300 for Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Cambodia; JPY 19,300 for Vietnam, the Philippines, Guam, Palau, and Mongolia; JPY 14,300 for China, Macau, Taiwan, and Hong Kong; and JPY 6,500 for South Korea and Russia (Vladivostok).
