ANA to Reduce International Fuel Surcharge from September 1
Malaysia Airlines has launched a codeshare partnership with SNCF Voyageurs, France’s national railway operator. The partnership provides seamless rail-to-air connections between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and 28 stations across France.
Offered through SNCF’s “TRAIN + AIR” service, the partnership integrates air and rail services into a single itinerary. Under AccesRail’s two-letter code “9B,” Malaysia Airlines flight numbers will be assigned to SNCF-operated trains. Sales began on July 10.
The 28 eligible stations are Aix-en-Provence TGV, Angers Saint-Laud, Angoulême, Arras, Avignon TGV, Bordeaux Saint-Jean, Champagne-Ardenne TGV, Grenoble, Laval, Le Mans, Lille Europe, Lille Flandres, Lorraine TGV, Lyon Part-Dieu, Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Marseille, Montpellier, Montpellier Sud de France, Nantes, Nîmes, Nîmes Pont du Gard, Perpignan, Poitiers, Rennes, Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, Strasbourg, TGV Haute-Picardie, and Valence TGV.
The initiative strengthens Malaysia Airlines’ “MHrail” program. The airline is already expanding integrated air-and-rail connections at major hubs including Seoul and London Heathrow.
