Skymark will change the deadline for check-in and baggage drop at Tokyo Haneda Airport from September 1.
The change follows efforts by the Scheduled Airlines Association of Japan and airlines operating at Haneda Airport to ensure punctual operations and promote the proper handling of carry-on baggage. The deadline will be moved from 20 minutes before departure to 30 minutes before departure.
Taking into account changes to passenger routes accompanying the planned opening of the North Satellite at Terminal 1 on September 1, Skymark determined that setting the deadline at 30 minutes before departure would best maintain safe and stable on-time operations.
At airports other than Haneda Airport, the deadline will remain unchanged at 20 minutes before departure.
