Japan Airlines (JAL) will launch the Osaka/Itami–Obihiro route on December 1.
One daily round trip will be operated using an Embraer E190 aircraft. Flight time will be 1 hour and 55 minutes from Osaka/Itami and 2 hours and 15 minutes from Obihiro. The flights will be operated by J-AIR.
In addition, JAL will operate one year-round daily round trip each on the Osaka/Itami–Asahikawa route from October 25 and the Osaka/Itami–Memanbetsu route from February 1, 2027.
