
JAL to Suspend Tokyo/Haneda–Doha Route Through Winter Schedule
Alaska Airlines will launch a new route between Seattle and Athens, Greece, on May 12, 2027.
The route will operate seasonally three times weekly, departing Seattle on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and Athens on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Boeing 787-9 aircraft will be used. Flight time will be 11 hours and 50 minutes from Seattle and 12 hours and 35 minutes from Athens. Service will operate through October.
Alaska Airlines will become the first carrier to operate nonstop flights between Seattle and Athens, making this the only nonstop service connecting the U.S. West Coast and Greece.
