The Japan Airlines (JAL) Group will implement special ticket handling due to expected adverse weather conditions caused by the approach of Typhoon No. 18.
As of 1:00 p.m. on August 24, special handling applies to flights operating to and from Kikai Island, Amami Oshima, Tokunoshima, Okinoerabu, Yoron, Kitadaito, and Minamidaito from August 25 to 26; Okinawa/Naha from the afternoon of August 25 through August 26; Kumejima on August 26; and Miyako, Tarama, Ishigaki, and Yonaguni from August 26 to 27.
For tickets on eligible flights, changes, rebooking, and refunds will be accepted free of charge, regardless of delays or cancellations.
