United Airlines will launch a route between Osaka/Kansai, Japan, and Los Angeles on March 27, 2027.
It will operate one daily round trip using Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Flight time will be 10 hours 35 minutes from Osaka/Kansai and 12 hours 10 minutes from Los Angeles.
Japan Airlines (JAL) also operates one daily round trip on the route. This will expand United Airlines’ routes to and from Osaka/Kansai to three, including Guam and San Francisco.
For the summer schedule, the airline also announced that it will launch the Okinawa/Naha–San Francisco route with three weekly round trips.
